The next thing you are going to need to do is think about non-floral items. This will
add interest to your centerpiece and it will also make it a little more unique than your
every day ones. You can think about things like seashells that you can pick up on the
beach that will add to your theme if you want to do a country kitchen or something very
casual if you are at the beach. You could use dehydrated or dried fruits. There are
artificial ones that are made out of plastic that look pretty realistic these days. You
can get twigs, vines, anything out of the yard that will add interest to the vase and
to the container you are using, give you some dimension and height if you want to use it
that way. The other thing you need to think about is how you are going to start hiding
some of your construction so things like sheep moss, Spanish moss, algae or lichen, you could
use to help cover your construction. It is whatever you find, whatever you want to use
in it. There is nothing in particular to be known. Just think about the fact that you
are going to be around something that is not going to create dirt. So think about your
non-floral objects for your center piece to add interest.
