Next I'm talking to you about is moving with intention. Anytime you dance make sure you
do move with intention because you want to make sure you know what you're doing, you
want to apply that to the audience, too. Even if you're in the middle of a move and you're
unsure of what you're doing. Finish it all the way out so it doesn't look uncertain to
the audience. For example, if I want to reach out to the side and then I decide like, Oh
I really shouldn't be doing that. You just want to finish it out and bring it back. My
intention, pull it out and pull it back. So anything that you do you want to make sure
you follow it through all the way to the end. If you're going to do a Maya, you don't want
to suddenly stop and move on to something else. You want to follow it all the way out,
I'm intending to do this Maya, and gracefully stop and move into something else. Snake arms,
and intentionally bring my arms up into the water fall. You want to make it as fluid and
as graceful as possible. You don't want to have a snake arm and then half way through
just freeze up and decide I shouldn't have done that snake arm. You want to finish that
snake arm up and then move on to something that you maybe intended to do. Just make sure
everything you do is with intention. If you start something you don't want to do, just
follow it through.
