Lindsay Lohan could be in some legal hot water again. Celebrity website TMZ.com is reporting
that the troubled star will be charged with lying to police over a June car accident.
Lohan told police that she wasn't driving when her Porsche slammed into the back of
a tractor-trailer. Witnesses have come forward to say she was, in fact, driving. TMZ is reporting
that the Santa Monica City attorney could file the misdemeanor charges this week. Lohan
is still on probation for a jewelry theft case and the latest charges could land her
back in jail. "Avatar" star Sam Worthington was arrested outside of an Atlanta restaurant
over the weekend on charges of disorderly conduct. The actor reportedly got into an
argument and pushed a doorman who responded by pepper spraying him. Worthington, who was
later released on bail, is in Atlanta filming the Schwarzenegger action movie "Ten." J.J.
Abrams, co-creator of the hit television series "Lost" and one of Hollywood's top producer-directors
of supernatural films and TV shows, will receive the Norman Lear Achievement Award in Television,
the Producers Guild of America said on Monday (November 5). Abrams, whose current credits
include TV shows "Fringe," "Revolution" and "Person of Interest," and the 2009 film "Star
Trek," will receive the honor at the Producers Guild Awards in Beverly Hills in January.
