Shontayne Hape wasn't chosen for the English side
to play Scotland on Saturday.
But his family here in Auckland can't stop boasting his success
in making the England team for the RWC.
Despite the fact that they are league supporters,
they support Shontayne's dreams for rugby.
Cheering on their boy as he scores for England against Georgia.
It's an issue that's debated amongst the Hape family,
but they all know that whatever Shontayne puts his mind to,
he achieves at great heights.
But it was league that he trained hard for in his youth,
which ultimately earned him a place in the Kiwis.
This week his thoughts aren't far away from his old club,
the Warriors.
But his team also have a do or die game this weekend.
Shontayne's family all have tickets to the game.
Shontayne has been to visit the family, and he's put his order
in for his favourite food from home.
It's true you can take the boy from his homeland,
but you can't take the homeland out of the boy.
