Okay here is what you'd end up with
as we see
on this little wall I made
each little stud is at 16 inches on center, a little bit off
some of them may be, but it's no matter
64 inches
and all I got is this mark
one mark simply at
each 16 inch on center
and you just want to line up the stud with the middle
this one is a little bit off but that don't matter
your drywall is easily going to be
if it lands here
it won't because it is 112
it is going to land here at the 8 foot mark
if it's an 8 foot sheet
and if you need to cut it you can cut it down the middle
simply go by
what you see on the tape
at sixteen inches on center and you will have no problem framing up
a 16" OC wall
next time we'll look at
how to frame in your doorways
and your walll tie-ins and other things like that
but this is simply
this is a simple sixteen inches on center
two-by-four wall
the same can be done for 2x6's
and some outside walls on houses are done at 2 foot on centers
but that's in another video
