Hi I'm Sarah, with Lights For All Occasions, and one thing that I really love
when I go to a wedding or any other special event is when there's that added
texture, added light, it just brings in some coziness,
some warmth to your special event and we do have some products on our website to do just that.
I wanna show you the sash, the chair sash that you can use when you're decorating for a special event.
These come in linen which you see here and also in a burlap.
So you can choose whichever one goes with your decor. And one thing that we thought
would be really fun if to incorporate that special element of light that we love so much at Lights For All Occasions.
By using our simple fairy lights to wrap around the bow and just let it hang down
so that as the guests walk in they see how beautiful everything is lit up.
Just to remind you, this is what our fairy lights look like. This is a very light
battery pack you can easily hide
in the bow of your chair sash.
And the on/off switch is very simple and as you can see it's just a great light that you can use.
I'm going to show you a couple different ways you can tie your
sash onto your chair whichever way works best for your particular decor.
The first style that you can try with your chair sash
is just a really simple wrap and twist of
the fabric. What we've done is we just took one end of the fabric
we've wrapped it around the chair just about halfway
and then we took the rest a bit and we just wrapped in the middle so you're kinda
creating a faux bow look and instead of
tucking the whole thing and we just kinda left the last part of it hanging down as a tail.
And we did have the blue lights on at the introduction of
this video but I wanted to show you this particular
sash with the white light. So you'll turn that on.
This is our warm white.
We also have the blue which you saw before
there's pink, there's red, there's also a very bright cool light that you can use.
So choose whichever one fits with your decor.
I'm gonna take the battery pack and just stick it into
this knot so it's very well hidden.
But easy to reach and just flip the light on and off as you can see.
Just like that. And then I'm gonna take the rest of it
and just start wrapping around the knot.
And this wire is really easy to
handle, it's not gonna break.
And once the room is dark in
whatever venue you're using then you won't be able to see this wire
as people walk in they'll just see the light.
And then what you can do is just use the rest to just hang down
actually I'm going to unwrap it one more time. And it can hang down here at this piece.
If you're using a sheer fabric you could probably have it behind.
This one's a little thicker we can have in the front but again if people walk in
the room is kinda that low light then you won't be able to see
see the wire. It's just such a beautiful element you can add to your sash.
Alright I'm going to show you another way that you can tie your sash around your chair.
This is really pretty it like a little rosetta that you can have.
Um, and I've only done it a couple times
so bare with me. But we're gonna do is just wrap it around make sure that the
ends
are are even and then grab it kinda taut at the end
and tie it once around
okay
Alright, once you have it
you know, as tight as you can then you're just gonna start twisting
your fabric.
Alright, so I'm just gonna leave about that much
at the end. And then you just kinda twist it around
it sorta does it by itself. And then once you get
to the end.. kinda play with that a little bit.
Um, you can tuck it in
tuck the ends in, and then in the back
and then what were the really beautiful is if you bring in your fairy lights.
Tuck the battery pack in and just start winding around.
So we'll show you that in a minute.
Alright, now that I have our sash twisted,
I'm going to add our lights, this time I've chosen red. This one comes with a
black battery pack and for now I'm just gonna tuck it back here
and we'll hide it at the very end. And just keep
a handle on the end of your material and we're just gonna wrap
the lights around.
We'll make sure it's kinda event so that you can see the lights throughout the whole thing.
Now we're gonna start to twist.
And it kinda does it for you, it just sorta
twists itself into a very cool-looking
flower almost. And with these lights in here
it just looks amazing. You may have to keep twisting a little bit
and then once you get to the end
we'll simply tuck in.
And then I've got some extra of the lights too I'm just gonna tuck that in
and then here's our battery pack,
I can just tuck into the edge here.
Let's go see what it looks like in the dark!
It's just gonna be so beautiful and I'm excited for you to use it,
I'm excited for you to try it
and um, let us know what you think and what you like
and we hope that we see you next time. Thanks for watching.
