Hi I am Suseela. Welcome to Suseela's Kitchen.
Today I am going to show you how to make Vada.
Vada is South Indian food. We can have it as a breakfast or for a afternoon tea snack.
You can have it as it is or you can have it with chutney or sauces.
To make this recipe, you will need:
1 cup urad daal, 1 onion, 1 spoon green chilli,
1 spoon ginger, 1 teaspoon cumin seeds, 1 table spoon fennel seeds,
few coriander.
First of all, you have to sock the urad daal
for two hours and then wash it twice,
put it in a blender and then make as like this
You use little bit water
maybe one.. one fourth cup of water, makes it like this.
Mix all ingredients into this urad daal paste.
And then take one sandwich bag like this,
you can wet it a little bit.
Take small quantity of urad daal mix, make a round,
put it on paper,
make a hole in the middle.
Place into hot oil
Drop it gently.
Turn this one, wait until it becomes light brown colour
Be careful, it is hot oil. Handle with care.
Now this is ready, you can take it.
