Hi, I'm Dan Bihn, Tom Bihn's brother.
I'm a journalist and storyteller for sustainable energy projects around the world.
A big part of my work involves visually communicating
through photographs and short videos.
I'm also a big fan of off camera flash,
thanks in large part to Dave Hobby's strobist approach to lighting.
It's simply brilliant and it really works.
However, sometimes carrying the right equipment around can be a real pain.
And I was complaining about this to Tom, so we sketched out a couple of ideas.
Then he went back to his virtual drawing board and worked his magic
and came up with a couple of really cool products.
The camera insert/outsert.
The 350 millimeter tripod lighting kit quiver.
And the 520 millimeter tripod lighting kit quiver.
The camera insert holds a digital SLR, a couple of lenses, a flash,
a couple of pocket wizards, the basic hardware of off camera flash.
It also conveniently fits into his brain bag.
Heck, it conveniently fits into my brain bag.
Anyway, the lighting quivers hold a light standard umbrella,
and can do double duty by holding a nice small tripod.
Separately, both of these products are really useful
but together, they can change the way you shoot.
They certainly changed the way I shoot, as you can see here
in some of these short videos.
I'm really pleased that Tom asked me to introduce this cool new product.
So thanks a lot, and check it out.
