Hi! I'm Brenda F. Dixon, the owner of Life Help Now in Nashville, Tennessee, and we're
here today with Expert Village. Our topic is how to overcome fear. Another part of that
that I like to think would really help you is to think in terms of don't think in absolutes.
Don't think in 'it's always this way.' Nothing isn't always. Don't think in never. Always
and nevers, shoulds and oughts will put you into a place where you can start to get fear.
Fear will actually start to come in on you because of that thinking. Remember how important
this is; the way you think. I would like for you to know not to think in absolutes, not
to think in it's always and never. When you start to say those kinds of things, you paralyze
yourself into a position where you cannot move forward. It's very important to remember
that you can say the way that you want to feel, and you will begin to feel it. You can
think it, say it, and you become. It's important to overcome fear by being what you want to
be, saying what you want to say, thinking what you want to be.
