Hello and welcome to Todd's kitchen. When I'm at home grilling up a piece of steak there is one
sauce that i really do love to have and i guarantee it is going to taste
so much better then what you buy from the shops. So join me today as i make my version of
Diane sauce
To start of with i have a pot on a medium to high heat and to that add in our butter
and let it melt down
Now that the butter has melted add in our shallots, roughly chopped up
and three cloves of garlic
Just keep stirring and mixing for two minutes
just until the garlic softens up
I have just turned the heat down to a simmer
Then to that add in our worcestershire sauce
It has now been simmering away for two minutes
next add in our thickened cream
It is also referred to as heavy cream or whipping cream or double cream
Same thing but different names for different countries
So keep stirring through
Bring it back up to a simmer and let it simmer for two minutes just until it
starts to thicken up
Now it has started to thicken up, it won't thicken up to much as its not a very thick sauce
But this is just right so what we are going to do is take it of the heat.
Next add in some finely chopped parsley
fresh parsley of course
mix it through
and its ready
and i can tell you
this smalls fantastic just as it is really really does
I have a piece of steak here that i have fried up
So im pouring some of this sauce on top
Now to give this a try
that is fantastic
that is a lovely
lovely creamy diane sauce
it really really is
especially when you have it on a nice piece of steak
It tastes simply delicious and i guarantee it will be better then any of the pre packaged ones you buy from the shops
There is nothing better then freshly made
home made diane sauce
