Continuing with the basics of how to screen print. You have a bead of ink along the top.
Take your squeegee. You want to make sure that your squeegee also covers the width of
your image. You have to lift your screen first. This is called flooding the screen and allows
the ink to actually fill the holes. So you want to make sure you have a bead of ink at
the front of your squeegee over there and you're going to pull it down. Then you're
going to flood it back up. So you're going to take all that ink that you just pulled
down, catch it on the edge of your squeegee and push it back up. At this point you're
ready to spread. Lower your screen. Oh, excuse me. You want to make sure that there's paper
there first. Lower your screen down. Take a bead of ink. So you want to evenly distribute
your hands over the screen and you actually want to push pretty hard and you're going
to pull down. Lift it back up and flood the ink back up. Lift it up and you have your
first proof.
