Hey there future designers it's Laurel, fashion expert and I am showing you how to draw different
variations of flat shoes. This one that we're going to do right now, I'm going to show you
how to draw a pair of slip on sneakers. These are obviously, think of the shoe, tennis shoes
without laces, there's so many different styles, so many different styles I could talk forever
and a day about and just give you different looks for them as far as even what's out there
that exists in the retail world to buy but also you got to think about it. You want to
create something, if you're a fashion designer that isn't being done in the market. So this
is where, this one aspect of the flat shoe, a slip on sneaker, possibilities are only
as limited as your imagination can go. So I'm going to show you a couple different styles
and this one we're going to get started on right now for this first slip on sneaker style.
Alright, the first step for us in our first slip on sneaker style is to decide what sort
of silhouette we want. We know it's a slip on sneaker but these I decided to go with
something really aerodynamic, nothing chunky, it's basically going to be just a protective
covering for your foot but you want it to be really, really, really flowing with the
shape of the foot. So we start by drawing this line for the sole and then I decided
to have some design lines put in there, so there's a layer that I put in right here and
then I went further and did the actual sole, sole for the shoe. Keeping them thin because
it is a flat sneaker and then I came up to the heel and decided to mirror my initial
design line at the top of the shoe. So, there we go with that and then creating visual interest
do whatever you want. I just decided to loopty doop it around. Kind of like a loafer slash
sneaker hybrid
and then once you add. Of course you're going to need to refine, refine, and refine but
once you add in some, a couple different colors the whole style comes together better visually
and there you go. There's one idea for you to start out with in your designs for slip
on sneakers.
