Julie Deily: [Background Music] Welcome to the Hershey's Kitchen. I'm Julie Deily from
TheLittleKitchen.net. Today we're going to make some thank you gift baskets and nothing
says "thank you" like homemade baked goods. Once your treats
are completely cooled, take a goodie bag and put several
cookies in it. You can tie it off with a ribbon or twine to make it cute. When this is done,
take a small or medium sized wicker basket. You can find them
at your local craft store. Then you're ready to begin packing.
Start by filling the bottom of the basket with colorful shredded paper. If you're giving
the basket in person, try filling the bottom with Hershey's Kisses Chocolates
for a sweet surprise, and then add your wrapped goodies
to the basket. Once your basket is done, create a ribbon or tie a bow around the handle. It's
always nice to include a personal thank you card. We sometimes
forget how meaningful a handwritten note is. For a simpler
thank you, purchase a nice coffee mug. Fill the bottom with Hershey's Kisses Chocolates
and with a biscotti of your choice. I've made the recipe from Hershey's
Chocolate Almond Biscotti. When you've filled your mug,
wrap it in cellophane, tie a ribbon around it, and now you've got the perfect thank you.
Again, don't forget that handwritten thank you note. These are
just a few simple ideas to say "thank you." For recipes, ideas, and
more please visit HersheysKitchens.com. Happy baking.
