Welcome to PJD: After the Show. We have some fan questions today
from Facebook.
The first question is from Jason M, who asks,
"Does PJD plan on doing a production bike?"
Yeah, you know that's a good question. This season, uh ...
Well, the last few episodes of American Chopper ended with this roller coaster of
whether we were going to work
with my father
you know, the production bike was a big mess ...
For right now there's no plans
if I ever did a production bike it would be with a company
that would be able to take my design and mass-produce it.
You know, it's not something
at least for right now that we would want to do here.
Nick K asks,
Can we ever expect a new car or
sports bike concept?
You know, I mean ...
Will we do something sportier?
I guess that's possible. You know, I think from a design standpoint it's not
like we're stuck in a box, obviously. We like to kinda
push the envelope.
We really haven't ventured into the sporty area
of bikes. We've done a lot of different things. But so, yeah, I could see us doing
something like that the future.
As for cars, we had such a fun time with the last project and
I think in the future we can do something more complete
more ground-up, you know? Kind of apply what we do with motorcycles
to a ground-up build with a car and be real innovative and
outside the box with it. So I think you'll definitely see some unique stuff
coming out of here in the future.
Chauncy L asks,
"What is your dream stocking stuffer?"
Stocking stuffer, huh?
Uh, you know what?
I like that medicated lip balm
Blistex stuff in the blue ...
That my mom always gets for you?
Yeah. That's pretty much it
You know, deodorant and things of that nature, at this age.
Exactly, all the functional necessities.
Nothing too fancy.
Brad F. asks,
"Any plans for a PJD and
Mikey art collaboration?"
You know, we haven't really talked about it. Michael's been real busy kinda
on the road. I know he's been hitting a lot of the bike shows with his artwork and doing
really well with that stuff, so we really haven't talked about doing something
like that. Um ...
I could see doing something with him.
Honestly, for myself I could see getting a little bit more
into the art world
maybe creating some art.
Maybe as part of what's coming in the future. I don't think there are
any limitations creatively to what we do and we've applied it to motorcycles
and I think the exciting part is
we can take our skill set and apply it to
a multitude of things and it'll stick.
So, you ever know. Maybe me and Mikey will join forces.
Latiesha C. asks,
"Do you have a showroom of your motorcycles?"
Currently, we don't. We just have the shop here.
Eventually we'd like to have a showroom, obviously.
We're just waiting for the right set of circumstances where we could put a nice display
accommodate people
and, you know, have merchandise
and do all those types of things. But we just never really have had it in such a small space
like we have here.
Uh ... We just
never quite got out to it.
Eventually we will.
Obviously, please keep tabs on the website and we'll keep you posted.
And Facebook, obviously. Actually, Facebook is probably the quickest way
to find out what's going on with us and what's next. Or our Twitter.
That's all we have for today.
Thanks for your questions, and we'll see you guys next time.
