Pharrell, it is just lovely to see you here on the red carpet at the Brit Awards. How
excited are you about being here?
Very. Yeah, it's awesome.
We just spoke to Nile Rogers as well. You're going to performing with him on stage a bit
later on.
He's a legend, you know. I can't put into words. That man is going to be on a stage
with me tonight, like woah.
And of course, the very big hit, the Daft Punk song you're going to be singing, we hear.
Yes ma'am. Yes ma'am.
Well, obviously you're an American. What do you know about the Brit Awards? It's a huge
deal over here for us. It's a bit like your Grammy Awards. Are you aware of them in the States?
Yes, of course. Of course. It's, you know, a prestigious event. Like allowing me to be
here... I don't know, but I'm thankful.
You're just overwhelmed by all this. Tell us a bit about what you're going to be doing
on stage later this evening. Are you going to interject some excitement into these awards?
No, you guys already have excitement. I think I'm just going to try and bring my energy
and contribute to the wonderful show that is the Brits.
We also hear that Beyonce's performing as well.
Okay.
Yeah. Have you seen her backstage yet?
I have not. I heard the same thing, but...
I think we can say it's 100% happening.
Yes ma'am.
And also, I have to ask you about David Bowie. He's been nominated in two categories this
year. How amazing that a man of 67 is competing with all the youngins these days.
He is... I mean, listen. Bowie is the king of all kings, you know? Like Ziggy Stardust.
He's just been doing it for so long. Just leading the trend and you know. Again, it's
awesome to be in the company of such great entertainers.
It's also being in your company for just a little bit though. It was amazing. Thank you
so much. Have a lovely show this evening.
