Working as a Festival Freelancer

Rachel>> Working at the Assembly I'm at the info desk so I have to deal with the public day in, day out for the whole month of August. And alongside that I've been working on a show called Hairy Mclary doing props and flyering for them making sure that everybody hears about the show. I'm also working on a show called Handling Bach which is at the Rosslyn Chapel this year helping them make fake pies and fake hams and all these really random props things which have to last for the whole month. Having all these different skills is really good you can put your hand to anything. You can have a varied working life which is great you're not stuck in an office on a computer all the time [laughs].
