Hello, today I want to share with you something that I do every morning and that's make a
smoothie. So, I want to share this recipe with you. So you guys can make it too because
it's really good. So we start with adding about 20 whole frozen strawberries. After
adding the strawberries, two bananas and this particular recipe makes enough for two to
maybe three people. So keep that in mind. I'm making for myself and my wife. I break
up the banana just so it is easier for the blender. So after the strawberries I add plain
yogurt and we use just all natural plain yogurt. You can use the non-fat plain yogurt, just
depends on what your preference is. And I use a big table spoon. I do about 4 to 5 scoops
of the yogurt depending on how much protein I want in the smoothie. So I will do 5 today.
So after the plain yogurt, I add quite a bit of cinnamon. I don't measure this. I just
kind of open the side with the three holes and put a lot more than I probably think I
need. But you don't taste it very much so it's okay. And apparently it's really healthy
for you. So after the cinnamon I put in spinach. And again, this isn't something that I really
measure. Umm, we use the baby spinach, whole leaf stuff. And I just do like, two ginormous
handfuls. Kinda just pack it in there. And after the spinach, I fill it up with milk,
up to the four cup mark. That tends to be two big cups of smoothie. So, I'll go ahead
and do that. Alright. So now that we have all the ingredients in the smoothie, umm,
just as a tip because it's really early in the morning when I make this typically. I
actually put two of these underneath the blender. So that it damps the vibrations, so it does
not wake up everybody in the house. So this can be sometimes tough to blend. So you want
to keep the spoon handy, but be careful, don't drop this into the blender if you are pushing
stuff down. There we are. So you pretty much let it blend until all the chunks are gone.
And this is about the size cup that this amount makes. So this is the finished product. It's
a little green, but really good. Well I hope you enjoy this smoothie as much as we do.
