Hi! I’m Kerri Hernandez I’m here today on expertvillage.com, here at Cynergy Dance
Studio where you can find us at www.cynergydance.com, I’m here to talk to you today about hair
braiding different types, do's and don’ts and the ways to do that. Does that feel nice
and secure? Okay, alright I’m not going to comb these pieces out I’m just going
to push them to the side that way they’re sticking together they’re not going slip
out of the braid. Separate your braid into three strands, you have three here, I’m
going to start crossing these two over and then I’m going to take the strand on the
right and cross it over the middle and then I’m going to do the same thing you’re
going to take the strand from the side, cross is over the middle again from the side over
the middle strand it’s the same all the way down, take the side over the middle and
keep going and smooth out the ends. You can choose to comb out the strands if you’d
prefer that’s fine I just like to keep it this way because that way the little hairs
don’t stick out the sides, if they’re straight they kind of ping off and you’ll
see that later if you keep it straight. And you just go all the way to the end and you
can secure it with a little plastic elastic band. Twist it around I always recommend if
you get your rubber band stuck in the hair cut the rubber band out but don’t cut your
hair and there you go there’s a braid the regular way.
