If you look at the point section,
mahkumaat, or the governing ayahs, signs,
all the ayahs, signs, which are governing us,
they are referred as torah, the law,
the mother of Al-Kitab, the book,
which contains the hokum,
the government of Allah
establishing like salaah, what is this, this is an ahkam,
it is an order, it is the governance, you have to establish salaah,
we have to give sadqa, we have to do charity,
we have to perform hajj or we have to fast,
all the orders or the governance ayaats
contains the torah, i.e., the law of this book.
That is the torah of the book,
that is the law of the book.

It is He who has revealed Al-Kitab, the book over you.
In it are mahkumaat, the governing ayaats, signs,
they are the mother of Al-Kitab, the book and others are " Mutashabihat " resembling.
So the next portion is the

and others are resembling ayaats.
Mahkumat you have understood.
The governing ayaats you have understood.
Now we have to understand what are the " Mutashabihat " ayaats.
What do you mean mutashabiha means the resembling,
ayaat resembling by itself another ayah resembling another ayah, resembling ayaats.
So there are ayaats that are resembling.
Surah zumur 39 ayah 23, I will come back again, but we have to go step by step.
In surah al-zumur 39 ayah 23
Now the first ayah that I read was

The remaining ayahs or those ayahs which are resembling each other,
Allah explains this ayat

Hadees here means event, it means event.
So Allah has revealed the most beautiful Hadees

So now if I ask the people who are sitting in the audience
who have read the Quran in translation those people who have come for the first time,
people who have read the Quran in translation, the book of Allah,
they have noted down
what are those events, can anybody in the hall tell me the event,
when he reads an ayah you can understand this is the event.
In the Quran when you are reading an ayah,
you can understand this is you are reading an event.
Can anybody from the audience..? Yes please.
Can you tell meÖanybodyÖ.any body who has read the QuranÖ.
Nobody has read the Quran in translationÖ.
you have not readÖ.you have read.
Because you can may be follow what I am saying,
when you read the Quran
and you read an event, in English I am using the word event,
so you may understand what I am saying,
you can easily understand this is the event I am reading,
it is not law, it is not a commandment,
it is not a governing ayah.
Like for example, can you give an exampleÖ.
Yousuf A.S. very good..MashaAllahÖthank you.
So now I will narrate you people like Yousuf A.S. narration is given.
Ibraheem A.S. narration is given,
Adam A.S. narration is given,
you understand what I am saying,
narration of Adam A.S.
when we said to the angels bow down for Adam,
it is an event described by Allah within the book of Allah. An event.
An event described by Quran within the Quran that Allah has described we said to the angels, bow down for Adam.
This is not a governing ayah,
this is telling you an event.
This is known as Hadees in Arabic.
So in the Quran remember very clearly there are when you are reading an ayah there isÖ establish the salaah,
that is the governing ayah.
Give zakaat, that is the governing ayah, mahkumat that is the mother of the book, the torah, the law.
When you are reading an event,
it is describing the Hadees of that Prophet,
about Ibraheem A.S. many events have repeated in Quran
that is the Hadees of Ibraheem A.S.,
the event of Ibraheem A.S.
When you read about Moosa A.S. event,
you will read Moosa A.S. event i.e.
the Hadees of Moosa p.b.u.h.
When you read, the gentleman said, about Yousuf A.S.
you read about Yousuf A.S. event, that is the Hadees of Yousuf A.S.
Similarly there are Hadees of Mohammad s.a.w. within the book.
So they are the Hadees of Mohammad s.a.w.
which I will come in the later stage,
but I am trying to tell you any event,
how the rainfall comes,
how the mountains are made,
any event that you read which is not a law to practice,
which is not a governing ayah to practice is describing an event, i.e., Hadees
of that particular thing.
An event described by Allah.
So all the prophets, mind you,
including Mohammad s.a.w. as the seal of the Prophets all the prophets ahadees
or the events are recorded in the book of Allah as
Arabic
Allah has revealed the most beautiful Hadees, event,
the most beautiful event.
So the events that are describing anything,
those who have read the translation of the book of Allah
know that very clearly what I am talking about.
There are governing ayaats,
and there are events,
many many events and those events are referred as Hadees in Arabic.
In translation it would be narration or an event.
So in this ayah Allah says about that event
that are in the book of Allah.

I will read and then I will describe.
MutashabihatÖ..I am reading the points in the same page.
Mutashabihat, resembling ayaats, signs, all ayaats, signs describing ahadees,
events of all the prophets
including Mohammad s.a.w., the seal of the prophets,
and all the ahadees events about man, his behaviour, as a believer,
as a hypocrite, as an associate, as a rejecter, or Adam, about universe,
about earth, about skies, about mountains,
about jannah, garden, about jahannum, hell, about qayamah, resurrection,
about akhira, the last day etc., etc. not complete many many events.
So when you are reading a translation in the ayaats of Allah,
you will note that when you read an event describing akhira is Hadees of akhira,
when you read an event of Moosa A.S. that is the Hadees of Moosa,
when you read about an event of Mohammad s.a.w.
that is the Hadees of Mohammad s.a.w.
but at the same time there are ayahs that are governing, ayahs that are giving you orders or ahkamat or governing ayaats, the hokum of Allah,
that is the torah of the book, the mother of the book.
The other is ahsan-al-Hadees.
So this book contains ayaats, signs, this book contains the ayaats, signs, governing ayaats,
which is the mahkumat ayaats, governing ayah is the hokum of Allah,
the governance of Allah,
the mother of the book, the torah.
The rest ayaat or the ayaats which are resembling each other
and describing an event of anything
including the messengers and the prophets
that is the Hadees in Arabic.
Hadees means event.
And whatever even the qaol or what they said,
Moosa A.S. said to his people, qaol means saying,
the saying of Moosa A.S.,
the saying of Issa A.S.,
the saying of Ibrahim A.S.
and the saying of the messenger Mohammad s.a.w.
The sayings recorded in the book of Allah or any event describing
the event is the Hadees of those prophets and the messengers of that event.
As we know the books of Hadees,
we know that this book of Hadees, so to say contain.
They say that they contain, the book of Hadees contains the saying of the messenger
and the practice of the messenger.
An event also describes and this is referred as the Hadees of the Prophet,
the Hadees book in the world.
Similarly Quran Allahís book,
described the saying what Moosa A.S. said to his people,
what Issa A.S. said to his people,
what Ibrahim A.S. said to his people,
what Nooh A.S. said to his people,
and also a describing an event.
So this is the Hadees within the book of Allah
as ahsan Hadees as the most beautiful Hadees.
Event recorded in the book of Allah in this book
and at the same time it contains the mahkumat ayaat, the governing ayaats.
So we have to believe in the torah, the law,
and we have to believe in the ahsan Hadees to believe in the book.
I will read surah zummar 39 ayah 23
Arabic
Allah has revealed the most beautiful Hadees the event as a book " Mutashabiha "
means resembling, the ayaats resembling each other, repeating itself.
Those who fear from their Lord, their skin shiver from it.
People who are fearful from Allah,
their skins shiver when they read the ahadees of the Quranic ayaats,
when they read the Hadees.
Those who fear from their Lord, their skin shiver from it,
then their skins and their hearts softened towards the remembrance of Allah,
when they are reading the ahsan Hadees.
They shiver because they have come to know this is the event mentioned in the Quran
the book of Allah.
their skin shiver and their hearts soften towards the remembrance of Allah.
that is the guidance of Allah.
That is the guidance of Allah.
He guides whom he wills with it and to whom Allah leaves astray,
so for him there is none who can guide.
So within the book of Allah when a person is reading any event,
Hadees of the Quran of the book of Allah,
describing any event you read it and your skins shiver
and the hearts soften.
This is the behaviour of those people who are fearful their Lord
and their skins shiver and Allah saysÖ.
It happens to you that you can understand this is the guidance.
This is the guidance of Allah, he guides who he wills.
Whenever you are reading an ayah and it is describing a most beautiful Hadees,
event of qayamah or aakhirah or other messengers and prophets events
and other prophets events and Mohammad s.a.w.
the seal of the prophets, I will come to that,
so you shiver and you see so true it is real.
Or any scientific research that has come to a conclusion
that is already mentioned in the book of Allah
is again ahsan Hadees which also your heart should soften and your skins shiver.
So these are the situation.
We have understood Aal-e-Imran 3 ayah 7,
I will read once again and then you will understand how we have understood.
and we have come to the hokum of Allah is the torah
and that is the mother of the book.
The resembling ayaats are the
Arabic
Allah has revealed most beautiful Hadees resembling, repeating itself.
So now I read further now
Now Allah is describing the behaviour of people whose hearts are deviation.
And what they do is that Allah has described us

Allah has revealed the most beautiful Hadees, event.
So in the book there are many events I have explained to you many many events of many situations, many events.
So now what people do, those whose hearts is deviation
they follow that resemblance from it,
seeking captivation and interpretation
and no one knows it interpretation except Allah, how.
Have you heard of this that I was facing some problem in life.
People talk like this.
Not personally me, I am just giving you an example.
I was having some problem in life,
so one day what I did or somebody told me that you open the Quran
from anywhere and then you read from the top on the left hand side or the right hand side
and you start reading there will be a narration or event described, anything you read, whatever you read,
so what is your problem you resemble with it,
it will explain to you what is going on.
It will explain to you, your problem will be solved, the answer is written like this.
Have youÖ.do you know this.
This is telling you that who have got deviation in their hearts,
resemble what is in the book.
The book is not telling you this.
Book is describing an event,
you do not know that event, you resemble from the world
your lifestyle into the book
so this is known as for those whose hearts is a deviation,
they follow that resemblance from it seeking it captivation and interpretation.
So people in the world I have noticed
that they see, they look at the world
and what their life is there, leading a life and then they take that situation of their life into the Quranic ayat
and says this is what Quran says.
The Quran is not saying that.
You understand what I am saying.
This is the problem with most of the people who are reading the Quran in translation.
Allah has not revealed that ayah to them.
They are resembling their lifestyle into the book.
Those whose hearts is a deviation.
They are doing it and seeking discord or captivation and interpretation.
So what has been resembled, they remember that.
That resemblance of mine is in that ayah.
It is not the ayah it is not telling you that.
You have resembled your thinking into the ayah
and most of the people think they are following the Quran,
they are not following the Quran.
They are following the resemblance in the book.
So Allah only describes
Arabic
Those whose hearts is a deviation
they follow that resembles from it,
the thing that has resembled their lifestyle
they think the ayat is telling you that.
So that resembles from it seeking captivation,
they get captivated and they think that this is what my life has been in the book of Allah,
it is not like this.
So your thinking or conjectures cannot put into the ayaats
and you say this is what ayah says,
ayah does not say that.
So I have noticed most of the people who are reading translation they are thinking like this
that is the deviation of the heart
and they see depression and no one knows it except Allah
and those are stable in knowledge,
they say we believe with it, all is from the nearness of our Lord.
Similar thing you will notice
are the scientists are doing.
If the scientific research is going and a fact is not being established
a fact is still a theory of science,
they will take up a scientific theory
and say this is what ayah says and this is what science says.
Look its resemblance. You understand.
So most of the people are doing this resemblance business
seeking captivation and interpretation.
Many many things are being done by man
that ayat is not revealed to them, the ayat is not clear to them
or understanding has not come to them,
but they have resembled their lifestyle into the ayaat thinking
that the ayat is saying that
by their science, by their Bible, by the ahadees or by the fiqh or anything.
It is your resembling situation into the ayah.
The ayat is not telling you this.
The ayat is telling you something clearly if you understood that ayah then only you can understand.
But people who have got deviation in the heart
are trying to resemble by their lifestyle into the ayah, by the Hadees into the ayah,
by the Bible into the ayat, by the scientific research into the ayat.
Continuously you are doing it.
until established fact is not established
by the science and you know the Quranic ayat what it says,
you must, I told you the first, the Quran is the criteria,
first you must understand what the Quran has said it.
If you have not understood the Quran that ayah,
you will look your own discord, your own captivation into it.
This is the problem with people.
They are reading Quranic ayaats and they are trying to put their point of view into it
and they say what is your point of view about this ayat.
Your point of view.
So that point of view is not the ayah,
that is seeking captivation in that ayah.
This is going on.
So this is, we must be very careful.
To all the events that are recorded in the book, remember not the mahkum ayah
which says establish the salah, not in that,
any event about Yousuf A.S. an event is there,
about Ibraheem A.S. or the peopleís behaviour event,
you putting your event which is in your lifestyle
which is trying to relate to that event that is recorded in the ayah
is a deviation of the hearts of the people.
Because the Quran always say, remember say,
Allah say that we relate the ayaats on you.
It is Allah who relates the ayaats on you,
never you, you, what man can do is this, the heart deviates, they follow that resemblance from the ayah.
So the people when they resemble, Allah has not related the ayaats on them,
Allah has not related the ayat on them,
they resemble themselves from the ayaats.
They have resembled their life from the ayat.
That is not Allah has not related the ayaats on them.
So most of the people are thinking
they are following the Quran, they are not following the ayaats,
they are following their own resemblance in the ayah.
So they are following their resemblance in the ayaat.
That is what Allah say they follow that resemblance from it
seeking the captivation and its interpretation
and no one knows except Allah.
So we should be very very careful
that Allah has related that ayat on me or I am seeking my own resemblance in the ayat
or I am seeking my scientific resemblance in the ayaat,
or I am relating the Biblical verses in the ayaat
or I am relating the ahadees of the verse in the ayaats.
Ayaat refers the Quran as the criteria.
I told you before, donít forget this.
Quran is the criteria.
Is the Quran is revealed to me,
and the ayat is understood by me as itself, as naked.
Not anything yours into it.
They you see what it is revealed to me and then I can judge the ahadees.
I can judge the book,
I can judge my own nafsiat or the psychology
but it should be revealed to me first.
Not my own resemblance of my own seeking captivation,
my own resemblance, you can never understand this.
This is very dangerous and people do this.
I will read a few verses
just to emphasis the point that the word Hadees is in the ayaats.
In surah al-naziaat 79 verse 15,
Allah is describingÖ.very simpleÖit is a very simple ayah,
Arabic
if Allah is asking did Hadees, event of Moosa come to you,
so what you will say, no.
You donít know the event of Moosa A.S.
So that means the Quran contains the Hadees of Moosa.
So I told you there are many Hadees of all the prophets.
So Allah explains with one word,
you can understand there are many Hadees of other prophets,
one word is enough

that means Moosa A.S.
the narration that are recorded about Moosa A.S.
is the event, Hadees of Moosa p.b.u.h.
Allah has recorded all the Hadees of all the prophets.
Now it says in surah
The guest of Ibrahim A.S. is
Arabic
So Allah is asking

so these guests came to Ibrahim, this is a event,
these guests came to Ibraheem A.S.
and have a discussion in the ayaats.
So Allah is saying did Hadees or event of honorable guests not come to you.
So that means yes,
the event of honorable has come to us in the ayaats.
So I am telling you this is how Hadees is.
Then in the next page
ghashiya, all envelopes, the time will come that everything will be enveloped
into darkness we cannot see anything.
So Allah says that is an event, described as event.

did event of the envelope that surrounds entirely come to you.
The time will come to us.
So in surah Yousuf 12 ayah 6
So in the book of Allah
the Hadees that are recorded in the ayaats of Allah,
the events of various prophets and various things I have already explains.
So in this ayat the taweel,
the interpretation of the Hadees is given to Yousuf A.S.
Yousuf A.S. was the messenger, the Prophet
who was given the knowledge
to interpret the events, the Hadees,
and the interpretation of the dreams both.
Like recently an event has taken place recently
or Asia problem nowadays.
So ÖÖ Now Yousuf A.S.
he was there suppose,
he can interpret why and what had happened
and why did it happen.
An event has taken place.
Similarly a dream interpretation, an event that take place in our lives,
an incident, an event Yousuf A.S.
was given the knowledge to interpret an event
and to interpret a dream.
Both interpretation Yousuf A.S. could do.
So in this Allah says
likewise your Lord selected Yousuf,
you and taught you the Yousuf from the interpretation of ahadees,
means the events that take place in life and the events that are mentioned in the book of Allah.
All these references that I gave just to establish in your mind
that ahadees, the word Hadees has been used in the book for the events.
Now one ayah I will read related to our messenger Prophet.
Surah al-ahzab and ayah 53
I stop here.
I translate for you.
Now this I will read further but we will discuss what is happening.
Allah is telling to the believers.
He is telling us that do not enter the houses of the Prophet,
in the house of the Prophet you are not allowed to enter,
we Muslims are not allowed in the time of Prophet today and all times,
whenever we enter somebodyís we have to follow this rule.
O you do not enter the houses of the Prophet
except permission for a meal is given to you.
So this is the process and this is the social system
and Allah is telling us.
When permission for a meal is given to, come,
other than waiting for its preparation.
When you are invited then you enter.
When you have had the meal, then salam-o-alaikum disperse,
it was a nice good meal, we go, salam-o-alaikum.
So what the people did is mentioned in this ayah
and do not socialize for a Hadees, event from the wives of the Prophet.
So they were having a discussion or socializing with the wives of the Prophet.
How we can understand, I read further.
So now there are people in that time were asking, socializing with the Prophetís wives,
so Allah says surely that is hurtful to the Prophet, surely
Arabic
surely that is hurtful to the Prophet
and he is ashamed from you
and Allah is not ashamed from the truth
and when you ask those women,
those wives of the Prophet ask them of anything or any commodity
so ask them from behind a hijab, veil,
that is purer for your hearts and for their hearts.
And this commandment is direct order.
This is not an event. This is an order.

do not socialize for an event from the wives of the Prophet.
It is an order, you understand this.
It is an order that I ask anything about your wife
or if I ask anything about from your wife about you,
how would you like it.
How would a man would like it if somebody goes and ask anything from his wife
about her husband.
Do you think you can write anything about the wives of the Prophet can say anything about the Prophet.
So that was an order.
Remember this. It was an order

It is not an event, it is an order,
do not socialize for a Hadees, event from who,
it tells you surely that is hurtful to the Prophet
because the Prophet is getting hurt when you are asking certain things or socializing with the wives of the Prophet.
