So, this is our tin foil turtle, and the materials needed although they may not appear so on
the outside, we've got some that we're using on the inside. We're going to use newspaper,
any weight newspaper will work. We're going to be ripping it up and bunching it up and
so it doesn't really matter what it is. We're going to use tin foil, we're also going to
use tape, scissors, we're going to use pipe cleaners for the structure inside. So, any
kind of pipe cleaner will work but we want to make sure that we do have those on hand.
And, for embellishing the turtle we are going to use some paint, some of those googly eyes.
We could also use some things like sequins and glitter to really jazz them up a little
bit. He is tin foil all the way around so, you really can't see what's on the inside
right now but those are the things that we are going to need. As far as choking hazards,
we have the googly eyes and we want to make sure that adults are present when we are using
those. And the scissor piece, that might be better done by an older adult. We have the
pipe cleaners. Most of that project the kids are going to be able to do. So, let them have
their freedom with this and let them ask for help when they need it.
