Since we are actually going to be sauteeing our shrimp and then cooking the rice after
the shrimp is half way cooked we are going to start off with our shrimp. And so we are
going to put on this pair of gloves and we are going to go ahead and pull our shells
off. And after we do we are going to check each one to make sure that there is no black
line in the back and if there is just take your finger like that and run it straight
down into our cup.
Once the shells are off we are going to discard them and we are going to grab the gloves at
the base ball it up in our fist and now we haven't contaminated any other surface. Right
now we are going to take our anato seeds and using the flat part of our knife we are just
going to keep going over them until we crush them down. Now if you don't turn them into
a fine powder that is fine we can just take a strainer later on when we add this to our
veggie stock and we are going to add that to our rice and just strain them out.
