My name is Francie DeMun and I am speaking on behalf of Expert Village. I am a tapestry
artist. As far as my color choice goes, I think my answer to that would be that it is
completely intuitive and it goes with what my mood is at the time. You can see some of
them are brighter than others. The Southwest Dragon is very light and has a lot of warm
tones in it where the unicorn, Pegasus are all in the blues, they are a little more subdued
and I think I would say unicorn is especially a lot of the grey and the sky is sort of quiet
storminess. I can only say that probably my mood and the music contributed to that because
I don’t consciously go, "Ooh, I think I am going to do this one a gray sky." What
will happen is I will start getting grays in there and I do have a sense (I think we
all have this ability) we just don’t necessarily know, so when you are surrounded by these
colors then you start putting them down you play and get a sense of things that look beautiful
together to you. Greens with a little bit of purple put in. Greens with a little bit
of red when you are doing a sky even it is a bright sky and you look up at the sky in
real you see that there are little grey shoots or there are so many colors. I think again
probably nature.
