Hi! My name is Teri Lynne and I'm here on behalf of Expert Village. In this segment
I'm going to show you how to do a sideways mime walk. If you have a show or a scene where
you want to look like you're walking to the side and you want to show a side view, this
is the mime walk you probably want to choose. Choose the leg you want to start with. I'm
going to choose the right. I'm actually going to rest my heal down on the floor. If you?re
using your right leg out, you will also want to have your right arm out. It?s going to
match the movement. Your left one you can leave cocked to your side. You want to pull
your leg forward. You want it on a bit of an angle, forty-five, no more than a forty-five
degree angle. You?re going to slide up. You?re going to want to create as smooth as possible.
You can wave to people. Really try to visualize walking. You can do it a lot slower, or if
you?re in a rush you can speed up the want. You just want to concentrate on doing it as
smooth as possible. So it looks very consistent. That is how you do a sideways mime walk.
