Hi, I’m Scott for Expert Village and today I’m going to teach you how to make Cherry
Hot Chocolate. Here’s some of the ingredients that we need in order to make this delicious
treat; five pieces of chocolate, some grenadine, maraschino cherries, a little bit of vanilla
and a glass of milk. To get this recipe started the first thing that we have to do is add
a glass of milk, the next step is of course to add our chocolate. Make sure when you melt
it down to keep the pan at about a medium setting so you don’t burn the chocolate.
Be sure to keep stirring everything that is contained within the pan so that nothing sticks
to the bottom and starts to burn. This is very important. Now we can go ahead and add
our vanilla. Okay, it’s mixing together nicely, the next liquid ingredient that we
have to add is a little bit of grenadine, you can pick this up at any supermarket nationwide.
So take off the lid and you’re going to want to add, just a little bit maybe about
a tablespoons worth, you just pour that in there. And you let it mix together very nicely
and it should have a nice aroma to it. Finally the last step of this process is to grab our
maraschino cherries, we’re just going to open up this container, we’re just going
to put a few of these little guys in the bottom, and they’re going to heat up and when you’re
drinking it out of the cup they’re going to be at the bottom. Boy are they delicious
when they’re warm.
Once you have it in there, we’re pretty much finished. So now we just keep mixing
this up until the chocolate is completely done. You pick up your hot chocolate that
you just made, you’ve got to be sure that you’re careful when you’re pouring it
because sometimes you spill over a little bit. Grab your cinnamon take a little pinch
of it and sprinkle it on top. Now you can’t always expect to get it right the first time,
that’s why you’ve got to try it a few times, but once you get it right you’ll
figure out exactly how to do it to your specifications. For Expert Village, Mmm, I’m Scott.
