HOW TO REMOVE GREASE STAINS FROM CARPET
Using a bit of water, sponge the stain, removing the extra grease.
Mix 1 teaspoon of white vinegar, 1 teaspoon dish soap and a cup of water.
Apply this solution with a clean cloth, turning the cloth to a clean side as you go.
Apply this solution until the stain disappears.
If the stain is still visible, you can try this method as well.
Mix one cup of warm water with 1 teaspoon of liquid dish soap.
Dip a cloth in this solution and then put pressure on the grease stain.
Leave the solution on the spill for five minutes.
Using a clean cloth, blot the stain. The grease should begin to lift off the carpet and onto
the cloth.
Once the stain is no longer visible, place a few paper towels over the area. Hold them
down with a heavy object and leave overnight to absorb any remaining liquid.
