speaking up Hobby Lobby though I wanna talk about that a little bit
this past Saturday thousands of people
across the US pledge their support for the religious right to Hobby Lobby
and corporations in general by going to Hobby Lobby to buy
I guess trinkets and other types of items that date think they need based on
consumer culture or something like that and a show solitaire
its solidarity with the 3.3 billion revenue company Hobby Lobby thats
involved in a Supreme Court case right now shoppers went in they bought
Easter crafts in wreath making tools and they posted pictures to facebook
and as I watch this develop as I watch this lawsuit
which argues Hobby Lobby argues they should not have to provide
birth control without a copay
no health insurance to their employees because it violates their Christian
beliefs
and they also don't want any love the any policies that would
allow coverage for abortion or abortion pills or anything abortion-related
the hypocrisy of this is so ridiculous
first and foremost we know scientifically speaking
that birth control is not an abortion that's number one but
that that may be lost on a lot of these people at Hobby Lobby
but that's not really what I want to talk to you about today
if Hobby Lobby were truly concerned
about their money going toward supporting abortion
wouldn't they immediately stop selling
any items that are made in China a nation that
unofficially has a policy %uh mandating
or coercing abortions forced abortions Associated
with the administration and the Chinese one-child policy
have occurred in the People's Republic of China they are
officially a violation of Chinese law and they're not official policy but they
do result from government pressure on local officials
who then start using strong-arm tactics on pregnant mother mothers to abort
children
its by some estimates last year China forced about a hundred and thirty
thousand women
to have abortions its almost Louis
like Hobby Lobby sincerely held religious beliefs
are directly connected to the impact that they have number one
on women they can directly control their employees
and number two on things that don't adversely affect their revenue
and not being able to sell really cheap chinese-made goods
while a may be lining up with their so-called religious beliefs
would affect the profit and maybe that's what they care about most
I'm willing to bet that yes properties were they care about most very
you know I'm kinda starting to realize that we have this culture in the US
among I the religious and the religious fundamentalists
and the whole thing is kinda like a pageant and you kinda have to be
as are as what's the right as
I don't know as religious as possible or appear to be as religious and Holby
and about as possible and just to make yourself look good
that's exactly right and I just don't understand how
you can justify if this is truly about your believes
buying and selling and profiting from the goods
up a country that forces women to have abortions if you're against abortions
you are supporting that
gimme a break I walk by Hobby Lobby the other day in a mall actually
looked completely heinous in there I mean just everything inside was so
depressing even the lighting like that ***
the hue the lighting inside the Hobby Lobby I walked by with it was a
depressing sight

lobby's but now be although that's where it was Lewis that's exactly where it was
it was actually back in massachusetts
was a really yeah it was just absolutely ridiculous
incredible are because there's a bunch from down here all over the place
course I mean I'll be a very Christian taxes yeah
yea at Lewis is a then he sees that he said it all i think is what we can say
I'll take a break next I will talk to Larry stone is he upset about the movie
noah because it is not a biblical interpretation of the Bible we've heard
one view from Ray Comfort will hear another
next
