Hockey History at Ontario House Video
BOARD [Hockey history at Ontario House Feb 28, 2010]
This game today is a monumental game, today, Canada and U.S.
It's probably the biggest hockey game we'll ever see in our lifetime. I love being Canadian.
It's a great time in our history.
This game is bigger than Swiss cheese. This game is the biggest game of my life.
I watched Canada Russia series, the first one ? this is bigger ? and Ontario House is
the best place to watch this game.
I'm from California. American's are down 1-0, we need a goal, fast.
Yea, we're a little bit outnumbered here. I don't know. I think there's four American's.
Cheering for team Canada man ? cheering for team Canada.
They're going to do it!!!!
BOARD [Canada: 1 USA: 0]
USA, USA, USA
BOARD [Canada: 2 USA: 1]
We got a goal so we're making progress.
Let's go Canada ? we want gold, we want gold!
They're outplaying us all the way. Ok, we got two minutes to go ? here we go.
BOARD [Canada: 2 USA: 2 (26 seconds remaining)]
Yes, overtime, yes!
Well we just got the biggest dagger in the heart of Canadian history right here. Tie
game.
BOARD [SUDDEN DEATH OVERTIME]
Go, go, go, go ?.
This goes out to all the parents who drive their kids to hockey in the morning. It's
our game. This is our nation!
It doesn't get any better.
I grew up with this sport and I've never seen a game played that way.
I just made three-hundred thousand new friends sitting here in Ontario Place, so I'm okay.
We'll see you guys in four years!
We've set a record in terms of home medals for a home team hosting Olympics ? 14 gold
medals ? you look at this crowd and tell me that is not history.
Let's hear it guys ?. go Canada go ? go Canada go ?
