You were at or near Ground Zero on September 11th and the days
and the weeks following. And you're now suffering from
serious breathing problems, reflux disease, or perhaps even
cancer. Did your exposure to toxins at the site cause your
injuries? And if so, are you entitled to compensation? My
name is Dan Burke and I'm a lawyer at Parker Waichman,
I can help you answer some of those questions. Back on
October 3rd of this year, legislation known as the Zadroga
Act was signed by President Obama. It effectively reopened
and expanded eligibility for the Victims Compensation Fund for an
additional five years. In that vein, Congress has dedicated
over 4 billion dollars to compensation and to medical
monitoring for claimants and victims who qualify. Victims may
be eligible for compensation even if they settled their
claims in the World Trade Center litigation. You're watching so
you have questions as to whether your exposure at the World Trade
Center site was the cause of your injuries. Give us a call at
the number below and we'll walk you through the Zadroga Act,
walk you through the process, and help you in any way we can.
Again, my name is Dan Burke. I'm a lawyer at Parker Waichman in
New York. And we appreciate your time in watching this video.
