Wall Angels
This exercise helps strengthen the scapular retractors, to help retract the shoulders
when standing and performing daily activities. The exercise is performed by standing up against
the wall, approximately one foot-length distance away from the wall, bending the knees slightly,
flattening the entire spine along the wall, retracting your head, then raising your arms
so that your elbows are above your shoulders, and your wrists are contacting the wall.
From this position, your elbows should be depressed, and lowered down to the lowest
position possible, held for three seconds, and brought back to the original elevated
position. This exercise is to be repeated 10 times,
