hello youtube
if you've had this problem
where you can't
port forward
for minecraft, like I have
on a belkin router
i have found a solution
without having to use hamachi
alright, so here's my
mcadmin server
and I'll start it up
and I'm going to go into my
web browser
and go to
www.whatsmyip.net
www.whatsmyip.net
www.whatsmyip.net
www.whatsmyip.net
press enter
and this one's a good website because you can just click copy to clipboard
and you're going to go into your minecraft
this might be a bit slow because I'm running a server the video program, and minecraft at the same time
you can close your web browser now
go into multiplayer
right click
oh no, you can't right click
but you can use ctrl + v
and click connect
login
and that was showing you that it works
and now I'm actually going to show you how to port forward
right, so open your web browser
and open start menu and type
cmd
and press enter
and type 'ipconfig'
press enter
scroll up and down until you find something like
wireless lan adapter wireless network connection
and it should say 'connection-specific DNS suffix' Belkin
if you've got, obviously a belkin router
and you should be watching this video because you have a belkin
and so you're going to find the default gateway
which is 192.168.1.1 in my case
so it's '129.168.1.1'
enter
should be no password so I'll just click 'next'
then you've got to go under filewall, virtual servers
and you're going to put in where it says 'lan ip adress'
you're going to go back into here
and put the ipv4 adress
the last digit
after 1 point something
one point seven, in my case
put 'minecraft' and put it as 'TCP'
and
25565 and 25565 and enable them
same here but with 'UDP'
and click apply
and then you do what's at the start of the video - thanks for watching!
