Hello
Today we are learning rope-dart
especially some back-release-kicks
This is my rope-dart, i'm using a chain, it's not that good, but it works.
Normally you should use a rope instead of a chain.
I also recomend the tutorials from poidojo.com, i'll put the link at the bottom.
This is the Kick we want to learn
You should already understand the normal wraps
It's a basic wrap around the foot..
And then you put your foot behind you..
the rope is laying on the foot then..
..this is the side-view..
now simply unwrap it for the back release
Of course you can do it faster
I'm also not perfect yet ;)
You can also combine it with a leg-wrap to get a technique similar to the wild-stallion-kick
Now the rope is completely released when you do the back-release-kick
...as you see ^^
because when I don't wrap around my leg first, this happens...
...the rope is around my leg then...
...but that's also not a problem because you can also do cool looking moves to get out of this..
What's also looking nice is the complete wild-stallion-kick...
...ones around your leg like before...
...then hold the rope and wrap around the second leg too...
And then the back-release-kick
ok the kick was not good, let's try again...
You need a very long chain, my rope-dart is normally a bit too short for this..
Well, i think i'll have to train it better xD
But i think you got the idea.
It's my first tutorial so please pardon my hastiness and bad camera position. :D
I hope you can easily learn this technique, so simply wraping around your foot...
...and then unwraping with the foot behind you.
And give some speed to look it more like a kick/shot
