Hi guys, today we're going to be working on this Devils and Angel
water marble.
And I came up with the title kind of based on the names of the Revlon
polishes.
This darker red is Devil's Lure.
This more normal red is Devil's Candy
And the white is Phantom Angel.
I didn't have a Revlon black handy, so I'm using or Orly - Liquid Vinyl.
And, you may remember that I picked these Revlon polishes up at Big Lots,
and when I got them and kind of saw the names, I wanted to give it a try marbling
with them.
And they do work quite well.
You know, I just did some testing, and decided that a little bit of
black would really
go well with the design, and so I just
looked for one that would work with them and decided on the Orly.
So, now that I have my bull's eye built,
I'm going to be doing a spiral design.
And there are really a lot of ways that you can do a spiral.
You can do it right on the bulls eye, without drawing any extra lines.
You can just do an up to the top and down to the bottom.
But basically, the more you draw in the polish before you do the spiral,
the more intricate the spiral is going to turn out.
So, you see I've done kind of a pinwheel design.
And now I'm going to
continue, and just slowly draw in a
spiral,
toward the center of the cup.
And as you finish it off in the middle,
just give it a little dip.
You can see that
goober of polish on there.
I'm just going be using the spiral as an accent, so I'm actually going
to be dipping three nails at a time.
I'm going to turn the cop
just a little bit.
Going to be aiming the spiral
for my ring finger.
And I apologize for covering up the camera, but I'm just going to
dip in.
And, you can see there's not very much left to clean up.
Just make sure there's no stray bits,
and then pull my nails out.
And there you can see.
The spiral kind of as an accent nail on my ring finger,
and then my middle finger and my pinky got kind of eges of the swirl
design.
For this one I did also dip my thumb
and my index finger together.
So,
you can see there I've got another accent nail on my thumb.
So, I hope you guys all enjoyed this design.
