My name is Julie Barbee, my clothing line is Frocky JackMorgan. On behalf of Expert
Village, this is a tutorial on recycling and deconstructing old clothes. Another principle
of deconstruction that could even be fun for kids to interact with is doing iron on transfers.
You can have them create art work or you could go through magazines and find some images
and scan them into your computer, you can print them out with paper you get in office
supply, that's simply iron on transfer paper. And you can cover stains really easily this
way, especially cotton fabric, it?s something that's not gonna weigh it down and it?s a
way to recycle even if you dye things you can still iron on afterwards. So if you find
that you want to add something graphic to a garment, be it a slip, a button up shirt
or anything like that, you can use an iron on transfer and then you can continue embellishing
with bead or craft you choose, but this is really a simple way to add something graphic
over a stain or anything like that.
