So, now you're meeting somebody or you're just getting ready to say hello with a handshake,
how do you do it? Hi, I'm Hazely Lopez from Hazely Academy of Refinements and Modeling
and I'm here to show you handshake etiquette. All right? First things first, and you want
to make sure you introduce yourself extending your hand. Of course, you then shake it maybe
one or two pumps is okay and also make it brief. You don't need to stay there for all
the time. Also, you're going to basically be not squeezing, just make it something gentle,
something you're extending your hand to. And, if their hands are sweaty, you want to make
sure you're not rubbing it in front of the person, that can be really rude and you can
just wait until that person is gone or then you can just later on go to the bathroom.
Let's take a look at how it looks on camera. Basically, you extend your hand, you do one
or two pumps and you shake from your elbow. You want to make sure that you're shaking
from your elbow and not just your whole hand. You don't want to squeeze. And, always, remember,
that one hand is better than the two hand that usually some people do. So, if they're
sweaty, you can just go ahead and never do the cleaning of your skirt or your shirt,
you just make sure you very kindly cross your hands and wait until that person's gone. And
then we're ready to go. I'm Hazely Lopez from Hazely Academy of Refinements and Modeling
and that is some handshake etiquette.
