Hi, I'm Ann Myrick and today I'm going to show you how to do an oiled hardwood floor.
First you want to sweep to get all the dust particles and food off your floor. We're in
the kitchen so there's always a lot of food. There are many products out there. I am using
Murphy's Soap, but there are many things that you can get commercial or use that's already
in your cupboard. You just want to be sure to read the directions. But on Murphy you
put a fourth of a cup of Murphy Soap in the water. Since we're using a oiled hardwood
floor you want to be sure that you ring your mop out very well, and then go back and forth
across the floor. Then you go back with a clean bucket of water, rinse the floor, and
let it dry. And that is how you clean an oiled hardwood floor. I'm Ann Myrick. Thank you.
