"And not denial, denial," is a statement that seems clear and concise but it really is a
bit ambiguous and doesn't answer the question. It's a very tricky way of answering a question,
and not really answering it. And kind of using flowery language and being ambiguous, when
at the first thought of it, the person thinks you answered the question. But when you really
dissect the words that you're saying, you're not either denying or confirming any of the
information.
And it's done a lot in PR. A perfect example of it is sometimes it simply is a "no comment."
You are not denying anything. It's a non-denial, denial. "No comment." So and another example
is, "I'm not going to dignify that, with even giving you a response." You're not denying
it, you're just kind of brushing it off.
