Hi, welcome to Fat Babe Designs! This is a little behind the scenes, explaining the process video. So I am just going to go over what it's like to order with me and then
what also goes into your drawing and give you kind of a little insight on how I create
my drawings. So the first step, of course, is to visit my Etsy which is nearsightedowl.etsy.com
or you can also find the link through my blog nearsightedowl.com. The first step is to make
your purchase. Like always, make you sure that you read the policies and descriptions
in Etsy to make sure you know what you are buying. But I am going to explain a little
bit about what will happen after you purchase you item and it's paid. I will then send you
a message to request some information from you. So of course, I have to get to know you
a little bit. If I can get, like, your blog if you have one or your Instagram. That's
fine. Or you can send me pictures of yourself and maybe just a little bit of what you're
into, your hobbies and your interests, what kind of fashion do you like.
(fast forward through rambling, talking too fast to understand)
You'll get an opportunity to tell me those kinds of things but the best part is that I get to kinda get to know you and hopefully
get a chance to look at your pictures and your selfies, kinda come up with a cool way
of portraying your personality in the portrait. So hopefully I can put some of my own artistic
talent into that. This is what I use to make your portrait. It is an iPad Mini. And an
iPad stylus and I use a Rocketfish pen. It has little soft rubber tips so it's not exactly
precise, it does require a little bit of learning and getting used to. I use Sketchbook Pro
on the iPad and I go ahead and open up a file. I do start by importing my original portrait
of myself. And then I kinda trace some of the shapes over it so that all the portraits
are a little bit similar.
