When using the on-board microphone you can also set the sensitivity of the microphone.
Let me show you how to do this first. What we want to do is go into our menu, like we've
been doing this whole time. I hit the menu button, and go down to our audio set-up again.
You can see it's right here, mic sensitivity. Right now it's set to normal, let me just
go in there and you can see we only have two options. Normal is your default and probably
what you want to leave it on most of the time. If you set it to high, what you're doing is,
is recording audio at a louder volume. It's basically a plus six decibels to your audio
recording. I would suggest, first off, setting your audio levels and if the audio is still
too low, then going and setting this mic sensitivity. I really, honestly, can't think of a reason
why your audio conditions would be so quiet that you would need to set this. But, if they
are, the option is available to you and it's just under the mic sensitivity option in the
audio set-up in your menu.
