For this week's quick tip, we're going to have fun making our own lipgloss!
All you need is some Vaseline and some old crappy lipstick!
The premiss is super easy, Vaseline works as a lipgloss on it's own so why not add some
colour to make it more tinted? All you need to do is get a soon full of vaseline,
however much you want to use... Next you'll need a lipstick to use for the
colour. I'm using an old NYX one which was a little too dark for me but once it' mixed
in with the vaseline it will be much sheerer. So just cut off a bit of the lipstick.
And mix them all together. It's seriously that easy. There's only one
step. If you want you can melt it together using
a tea light candle or similar. But in this heat it's not even needed.
Australian summers suck but they're good for making your own lipgloss.
Done! Once you've mixed it all together, you just need to find a cute container to put
it into. Easy. And let's see how it will apply?
Ooow it's silky! Very nice!
This could also work if you used food colouring as more of a stain and I've seen other people
do things like crush up eyeshadow crushed up and mixed in as well.
It probably won't be as pigmented but it will work as a nice sheer look.
It's fun to experiment with different colours! So there you go, your very own lipgloss and
you can personalise the shade to whatever you like!
I hope you guys enjoyed this week's quick tip and I'll see you next week. Bye!
