Hey everyone itís Lori Barnett and Iím just gonna show you real quick how I get the effect
of these really cool butterflies. Itís a brand new release from Gourmet Rubber Stamps.
And this is one of the new sets that theyíre coming out with. An appetiziers set is so
beautiful.
So I wanted to show how Iíve got the butterflies on here by using distress markers and the
solid stamp. So Iím gonna start out with the mustard seed and gonna go right direct
to the rubber. So Iím just scribbling that on all over.
And thenÖ. you start out with your lightest color. Then Iím coming in with warm lipstick.
Just kinda flicking this up. And Itís just kinda a random thing. Each one is gonna be
unique soÖcanít go wrong.
And then Iím coming in with Chipped Sapphire and thatís going around like the edges . Just
in a little bitÖnot too much cause I donít want it real dark. So just kinda in the edges
hereÖaround in there.
Ok. I think thatís good. Oh..and then I put a little bit down the bodyÖjustÖjust a little
bit. Then Iím comin with Black Soot and doing the little head and these little antennas
up here. OK. Then I take a Mini Mister and just lightly
mist on here. Just a couple squirts.
You can see it kinda wicking on the rubber. And I justÖkindaÖwait till it moves around
just a little bit. If you donít like itÖyou can kinda seeÖ if itís not quite wet enough
you can give it another spritz.
You donít wanna get it over wet then itíll just get muddy. Ok, so that looks pretty good.
AndÖbring in myÖoopsÖwipe up this water here.
So Iím gonna bring in my paper and then stamp it right on.
And there it is. Beautiful. So give it a try. I think youíll really like it.
