Hi, I'm chef Rainer Wickel and I'm here today with expertvillage.com. Well, we're on to
our next recipe in cooking with alcohol. And now what we're going to make is tequila lime
shrimp skewers. And once again we're gonna make these on the grill and these are going
to be really tasty. Now I need to go over with you all the utensils that we're going
to need to make this dish. Of course the very first thing is we need a nice sturdy cutting
board, as always. And the reason that we need this is we're gonna be dicing up quite a few
ingredients so we need something nice and sturdy to cut on. We also need a nice sharp
paring knife, and we're actually going to use that quite a bit today, just because of
the fact that we need that to cut up the ingredients so make sure that you have one that's nice
and sharp, it makes it a lot easier. We also need a whisk and a bowl, and the reason we
need the whisk and the bowl is because we're going to be mixing the marinade in the bowl
and we need to be able to whisk the ingredients all together really well so that it blends
together well before we put it on the shrimp. And of course, we need skewers, and particularly
I'm going to be using bamboo skewers, and these just work a lot better. And we need
another bowl, this is where we're going to be putting the shrimp in to. And once we finish
making the marinade we're gonna pour the marinade over that and then we need to put it into
the refrigerator for about four hours to let that marinade set in. We also need a measuring
cup, and the reason we need the measuring cup is we're going to be using about a cup
of tequila and a cup of lime juice. So, we need to make sure that we put the right amount
in there. And that's about it. And, these are all the utensils that we need to make
tequila lime shrimp skewers.
