Thomas: Some stuff (Box set on table)
Bess: What's in here?
Thomas: Oh, it's just some junk. I was wondering...
Thomas: ...Do you mind if I skip out on the garage sale this year?
Bess: Why?
Thomas: Well, it's a film. (Rustling paper for film flyer)
(Unwraps paper)
Bess: Why do you want to see some old movie?
(Folds up paper) Thomas: Classic movie.
Bess: You always help me with the sale.
Thomas: I know but I'm supposed to be meeting someone there.
Bess: A girl? Thomas: No, just...
Thomas: ...someone from school. Bess: You'll just have to tell them you can't go.
Thomas: Umm...
Thomas: Let's just... sell these next year. Let's wait.
(Pulls dolls out of box)
Bess: You grew out of these...
Bess: ...years ago. Some little. (Drops box on floor)
Bess: Come down to dinner.
(Flute plays)
Bess: Thomas! Thomas: Alright, hold on!
(Piano plays)
(Grabs doll)
(Opens box)
(Music becomes more dramatic)
(Pulls toy trucks out of box)
(Music fades out)
(Scissors cutting cardboard)
Eddie: Hey, Bess.
(Birds chirping)
(Toy trucks hitting the ground) Kenny: Are these yours? Thomas: Mmm, hmm...
Kenny: You don't want them anymore?
Thomas: I never really cared for them.
Bess: God, I haven't seen you...
Eddie: I know, since last time.

Bess: Go to your movie.
Thomas: Thanks, Mom.
