Hi I'm Josh from eSpares.
And in this video I'll be showing you how to change the cooling fan
on an oven. Now here I'm using a Neff 1451 built-in oven
but the procedure should be fairly similar for most types
oven's. Now I've removed the oven from
its housing and for safety I've also disconnect it
from the mains. If you're oven is wired into the mains make sure it's
turned off
at the wall. Now the first thing
I'm going to do is just to turn it round and undo the cable grip here
on the back.
I'm now going to unscrew and remove the
back panel.
Now this is the
cooling fan here and as you can see there's a couple it electrical
connections going to it
so I'm just going to removed those.
And I'm now going to remove these two screws here to remove the cooling fan
making sure I'm holding on to the fan so it doesn't fall off when its loose.
Now with those two screws taken off the cooling fan simply slides back
and out of the oven.
and i can pop in the new one.
Now I can
reconnect the cables. And now I can screw the back panel back on.
Now I need to screw the cable grip tight again.
Now all I need to do is install the oven back into its housing
and set the clock set the oven works again. Spares for ovens
and other appliances are available on the eSpares website.
Thanks for watching.
