Hi, I'm Cal Cheney of All Digital Photo and Video in Boulder County Colorado.
When hiring a wedding photographer there are a few main questions
I think you should ask.
is: Do I own the images?
Now days there are enough of us out there offering the images
You should own your own photographs.
Another good question is: How long have you been in business?
and: Are you a full time professional?
who don't shoot on a regular basis and never really get in the groove like a full time professional.
Another question to ask: Do I get two photographers, or just one?
We believe that two photographers are very important.
At our company, we try to offer a male and female photographer for obvious reasons.
You get two different eyes, two different points of view
one photographer may be more traditional while the other is a little edgier
Another question: Turn around time, we deliver everything within 2 weeks, posted online
Smaller studios may take 6 weeks or even 6 months so be sure to ask about the turn around time.
An obvious question is about cost, be careful about hidden fees, reprints, albums and enlargements.
be careful with overtime charges.
Some photographers may charge $300 to $400 for overtime charges.
We'd love to talk to you further about the vision for your wedding
