Now our spaghetti has been cooking for about ten minutes and we’re going to go ahead
and check to see if it’s cooked to al dente. And what al dente means is that it’s not
quite all the way cooked yet but it still has a bite yet. You can actually; if you’ve
never cooked something to al dente you can actually cut with a knife and check to see.
And the way you’ll see, there’s a little ring of white around it, that’s probably
a little hard to see on the camera but there is a little ring of white around it and when
you bite it, it’s almost all the way cooked but there’s still a little bit of a bite
left to it and that’s al dente. So we’ve cooked our spaghetti to al dente and now we’re
going to drain it.
