>> Hi and welcome to a new video from the serie 30 days of Christmas
Today I will show you how to create hand made gift tags, just like these ones.
As you can see I chose some easy layouts
in order to allow you to create them in quantities
In fact I already made enough for all of my presents.
Let's start with the first layout
that's how it looks
and here is how to make it!
First of all let's grab a white cardstock
and let's mark the size of our tags.
Mine measure
3.5 cm
and 6.5 cm.
Now let's trace some guide lines
dividing the paper in sections
and let's start cutting the tags,
like this.
Now let's punch a round hole in the middle of the tag
Just as you can see.
Let's choose a patterned paper
and using our tag as a mask
let's trace some guide lines
which will help us to cut it in the right size.
Let's glue the patterned paper beneath the tag
and let's trim off the exceeding bits if necessary.
With a black marker let's draw a loop on the side of the round hole
Let's add a sticker circle on the top side
and using the crop-a-dile
let's punch a hole, like this.
At the end let's cut the two top corners
to create the classic tag shape
and let's finish by drawing a stiched line with a black marker
all around the edges
and here is our first tag finished!
Now let's get to the second layout,
this one
Here is what you'll need and how to make it.
From a bit of kraft cardstock
let's punch out a scallopped border
this way.
Then let's glue it on the tag
and let's cut it to the right size.
Let's place on top a patterned tape
and let's hot glue a button on it.
Now we need to add the sticker circle
and let's punch a hole with a crop-a-dile,
let's cut out the corners
and let's finish it up by drawing a stiched line on the edges.
And the second tag is ready too.
This is the last layout
and here is what you need to do to create it.
Starting with a kraft tag
let's use a Christmas stamp
with Versamark ink.
Then let's add some white embossing powder
and let's emboss it with the heating tool, like this.
To embellish our tag
let's draw a stiched line with a white gel pen.
Now let's add two bits of coloured washi tape
like this.
Let's finish it up hot glueing a button on top.
and also the third tag is done.
Now that our tags are ready
you just need the name and tie them to your gifts.
That's all for today, I hope you liked this video
