In this episode of Mythbusting we're going to see if we can make innocent candy, like this gummy bear into firework.
We are going to use potassium chlorate which is very dangerous so don't play with it at home.
In fact we probably shouldn't play with it either.
What we think is going to happen is that the potassium chlorate is going to react with the sugar in the candy
making it a rather unpleasant experience for the gummy bear.
We don't think anything is going to happen with the sugar free candy.
Well at first
we started measuring
how much potassium chlorate
we used and we used the same for every experiment.
First we'll test the sugar free wine gum.
But we need to make it smaller.
Now we can go to the test tubes.
For the next experiment we are going to try with liquorice
and just like the other, we are going to cut a little piece off
because it's way too big
for the experiment
In this experiment we are using Gajol - Sukkerfri pastiller
and again we have to cut it in half.
Wuhu - Success!!
