Hi I'm Ed Story on behalf of expertvillage.com my website is www.feather-craft.com fly fishing.
Okay we are going to use two of the techniques we've already learn to impervious and build
a brand new trout fly. First we are going to tie the thread on to the hook shank with
our jam knot. Roll the thread over itself on the standing portion. Come back over it
again and its locked in with a jam knot. Two simple materials to create a willy worm trout
fly. First I'm going to walk the thread to the hook shank with a jam knot. Cut away the
waste thread. Move the thread to the end of the hook shank. We are going to use a common
saddle hackle in this case it is the furnace hackle. As we mention before it has a white
strip right down the middle and it is a color ginger. We are going to remove the feather
fibers from the bottom end to create a tight end point. Then we are going to move the hackle
over to the hook shank and at the tie end point tie the hackle at the end of the hook
shank with thread wraps being sure that our thread wraps are finish at the end of the
hook shank.
