Hi I'm Kim with Simply Beautiful in Austin, Texas. Let's talk about how to pick the right
cleanser for normal combination skin. It is really important that you do know your skin
is normal combination and when we are talking about normal combination we are talking about
normal being the middle oily to one side and dry to the other so normal combination skin
generally looks like this, there is no shine on the cheeks, there is a shine on the forehead,
the nose and the chin. You have larger pores in the T zone area and you have more of a
tendency to break out in that same area. That is normal combination. If you do have some
oiliness on the cheek area then you are combination towards oily. So how to get the best cleanser
for that is to determine how normal and how oily you are. So there are all kinds of cleansers
on the market. Here are two of my favorites. Lancomme has a cleanser. It is a cream to
foam cleanser, great on the skin. It goes on as a cream and turns into a foam. It is
luxurious, it is lovely. It gets the skin really really clean without overdrying the
normal areas. The Loreal Ideal Balance is also for combination skin. It has a little
clay in it so it has absorbed the oil in the T Zone without overdrying the areas that aren't
oily. If you do find that you are more oily than you are normal so if you are on the upper
scale of the normal combination then I want you to look for a gel cleanser, a cleanser
that says on it gel or for normal combination skin. I applaud you for knowing that you have
normal combination skin and knowing that a great cleanser, the right one for you is critical.
