Hello, Insert-Username-Here! It's Grace here with my best friend, and makeup
marvel Marc! POW!
Ughhhhhhhgggggg. We're at my best friend, Rebecca Black's house.
And if you don't know who Rebecca Black is, how are you on the internet?
But wait to google her because we're about to give her a surprise makeup attack.
Right here, right now! Welcome to Grace's Faces!
Ka-pow. It's Grace's Faces. Grace's Faces. I take
my friends' faces and I make them better. Surprise!
I had no idea you guys were coming. We're giving you a surprise mini-makeover.
Really? Are you mocking us?
That sounds sarcastic. It is.
Well, I'm still going to give you the gift for letting us invade your house.
It's lipgloss! Wow. How...nice.
I was Cleopatra for Halloween. You're welcome.
Go Marc! I went on Twitter and asked people to tweet
me questions for you about your makeup. And let's get into this!
Okay, our first question comes from some random internet girl named iJustine. What a username.
I don't get it. But seriously, how long does it normally take
you to do your makeup? I have days when I don't do anything to my
face. And I just go.
But sometimes it takes like, 15-20 minutes. The next question comes from @iD4rkAngel and
they ask: I love lip balm, and I find that I am always
having chapped lips. I find that I put WAY too many in my bag and
just way too much stuff in general. So today, we're gonna figure out the five
essential items for your makeup bag. You don't need any brushes.
All you need are your fingers and they're great for touch-ups.
Well, it sounds like you guys have a plan. And I would like to know if you have a bathroom.
Yeah, right over there. Thanks! Good luck guys!
Item #1 out of your makeup bag is a touch-up stick.
And you can kind of just go on over whatever you have on already.
Here's a fun fact about Rebecca Black: she owns turtles.
That's a classic turtle mating call. I feel like I could even do this in class.
Well, yes you could. That's amazing.
Yeah. Oh, did someone say something's amazing?
Wow! Your face looks similar to how it did before but slightly better.
Thank you. You're welcome.
That's probably the biggest compliment I've ever given to another human being in my entire
life. It's the best one I'ver ever gotten.
This place looks like it has at least another half bathroom.
Yeah, right over that way. I got it.
Good luck! Item #2 out of the makeup bag is gonna be
a cream shadow stick. You can throw it in your bag. It's portable.
And you don't need any brushes! And it's a beautiful bronzy color so it's
good for every day even though it has a little shimmer to it. But it's not overdone.
It's not crazy! It's not crazy! Exactly!
You just take it straight to your skin, on your eyelid.
Apply it up to your crease and across the entire lash line.
Take a look. Oh, I love it!
Isn't that beautiful? Yeah!
You just want to blend out the edges with your finger, so that there's no hard lines.
So, item #3 is actually gonna be eyeliner. You don't need a brush for this.
You just want to throw it in your bag. Maybe touch it up later on.
Start out from the outer corner of the eye, and work your way in.
The key to a perfect looking eyeliner is that it's thickest on the outside and thinnest
on the inside towards the nose. Because what you want is the liner to be an
extension of your lash line. Sometimes I find myself having that little
tiny line right in between. Good tip for everyone!
You don't want any skin showing between the liner and your lash line.
All you do is get food and shelter and bask in the glory that is this very very large
oil painting of Rebecca Black and her family. And then...
Oh wow! All done!
It looks good! Oh, I want to see!
Wow, that looks really good! You look like you won the bronze medal.
On your eyes. It's bronze, right?
Yeah. Yeahhhhh. It looks great.
I'm gonna...you get it. Item #4 for the essentials in your makeup
bag is mascara! Shocker.
And she has a trampoline! For real?
When you apply mascara, you want to get to the root and the base of the lashes.
Okay. At the end of your application, you want your
lashes coated completely from the root of the lashes to the tip.
This is a show about makeup. Very obviously about makeup.
And that brings us to Item #5, it's a multipurpose item.
In your nifty bag is a cream blush. And not only are we going to use the cream
blush for your cheeks, we're going to use it for your lips as well.
So apply the blush. You can just press it in with your finger.
High on the cheek. So take a clean finger. Keep smiling for yourself,
and just blend it down and back. It's more about pressing the color in, high
on the cheek. And smiling for yourself.
Ha ha! I did something! We said we were going to use it for cheeks
and for lips. Right!
I don't have to show you how to do this. Why don't you just press some color into your
lips? Oh, I love the color!
Feels creamy, right? I love it!
And it feels great, right? It does! It does.
Perfect. You're done!
Yay, thank you! Ooo, we're all done here?
Your hair looks amazing. Hi, Hair.
What'd we do? What'd we learn? Well, we had five quick things that I can
keep in my makeup bag. A little touch-up stick.
Okay. And also some eyeliner.
A cream shadow stick. And mascara, of course.
And then also learned that you could use the same thing for cheeks and lips.
Wow. How about that?
We're all about education here on Grace's Faces.
Make sure you guys check out Rebecca right here on YouTube, and leave a comment down
below on how you think she looks, and what you carry in your makeup bag.
Cool job, guys! Well, this has been great. Thanks Rebecca.
But Marc, we have more best friends to make over.
How many best friends do you have? How are you even surprised by this at this
point? Let's go! C'mon!
Rebecca, I will be back on Saturday to do some more jumping.
Subscribe to I love makeup! One of your turtles might be gone.
It's Grace's Faces. Grace's Faces. I take my friends' faces and I make them better.
I'm gonna get cozy, you guys, and get all of my makeup together so I can show you the
holiday party tutorial. What's up guys? So we're on the set of Madilyn
Bailey and Tyler Ward's new music video, and we're going to be doing makeup.
